Finding a Voice (Instructor)

In preparation for upcoming auditions & workshops, I've set out on the search for a new voice instructor. I've been away from formal training longer than I'd like to admit - and although I don't feel completely out of shape vocally, thanks to assorted rehearsals & performances, there are definitely several things that I feel could use a little fine tuning. I've been singing the same way for a while now, and I'm open to a new approach that might help me stretch my range & strengthen the "parts" of my voice that haven't been getting as much attention. So today I emailed out a couple of vocal instructors who came highly recommended to me through a friend who is also a singer.

But now that I've committed to doing this overhaul on myself & revamping my approach to the biz, I'm prepared to invest some more time & yes, money in myself. I've been a bit resistant to fork over large sums of money for training in the past, but I'm going all in this time no holds barred. I'm pulling out all the stops, laying all my cards out on the table, doubling down, splitting my aces & whatever other gambling term you can think of. All of life, especially in this field, is a gamble & I'm willing to take that bet. This horsey is in it to win it!
