well, you get the idea. I've had that tune in my head all day, and I was hoping to get tickets via the virtual line on publictheater.org - but unfortunately, I was cut. (sad face)

To their credit though, the idea of the virtual line is pretty cool. It's like a lottery in that you register on their site, and then submit your email address for a random drawing anywhere between midnight and 1pm on the day of the show that you wish to see. Pretty cool! Since I knew that I wasn't going to be able to get to the park at 8am this morning to line up, as is the more conventional way of obtaining tickets, I thought I'd give this method a shot. I'm gonna give it another whirl tonight and see if I don't have better luck with it tomorrow.

Since I was unable to procure set of tickets for myself and my boyfriend of one year (Happy one-year Anniversary to us!) We thought that we would go to the theater district for dinner and at the very least, soak up some of the ambiance that it has to offer. I suggested that we go to Danny's Grand Sea Palace on restaurant row, which is a long-time favorite of mine, and a place where I have performed on a few occasions. Low and behold, I learned that Danny's has gone out of business! How hair-raising! So, today had a couple of disappointments, but my man and I made due and got Thai food at Yum Yum Bangkok and then went to see the big Broadway musical, The Clone Wars. Damn, those Jedi Knights got the moves! Enjoyed it very much did I. Recommend it I would.

All the same, nothing beats the art of live performance, but until I get to see Hair - I have this video to tide me over. Please enjoy...
